Introduction
In this policy, “Zariel,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Zariel, the Agentic SDLC platform that keeps human engineers and AI coding agents aligned and grounded in a shared knowledge base.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, our platform, and related services (together, the “Services”), how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
We collect information in a few different ways, depending on how you interact with Zariel.
Information you provide
When you request a demo, contact us, or create an account, you may provide your name, work email, company, and any details you share in that request.
Usage and log data
We automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and timestamps, to operate and secure the Services.
Content and knowledge base data
If you use the platform, we process the content, code references, and knowledge base facts your team stores in Zariel so agents can ground their actions in it. This data is yours; we process it to provide the Services.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and understand how the site is used. See Cookies and tracking below for details.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to provide and operate the platform, ground agent actions in your knowledge base, respond to support requests, secure our systems, and improve the product.
We may also use your contact information to send product updates or respond to a demo request. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Account and knowledge base data is retained for the life of your account, and deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after closure, unless a longer period is required by law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring, to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@zarielhq.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Third-party services and model runtimes
Our Services connect to third-party integrations you choose to enable and to the model runtime you select to power your agents. Those providers process data under their own privacy policies and terms, which we encourage you to review.
International data transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect data transferred internationally.
Children’s privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email where appropriate.
